Elite Plumbing Services only employs plumbing apprentices who have completed a pre-vocational course offered by TAFE or PEER Training. This takes care of your first year of TAFE in an apprenticeship and makes you a viable prospect for employment with our company. Candidates must also be physically fit and healthy and be prepared to undergo a medical examination.
The pre-vocational course also attracts scouts from the PIA (Plumbing Industry Association) TAPS (Trainee & Apprentice Placement Service Inc.) and PEER Training. These organisations seek graduates to take on as apprentices, who are then assigned to host employers, such as Elite Plumbing Services. At Elite Plumbing Services, we look to TAFE and PEER Training for potential apprentices as we can gather regular feedback on their performance from their lecturers and teachers.
